What do you think of when you think of good barbecue? Maybe it’s moist, delicious brisket smoked for hours on end and served with Texas toast. Maybe it’s prime rib, slow-cooked all day and served with au jus. Maybe it’s steaks, chops, or corn on the cob. Loaded baked potatoes, maybe? Or, it could be ribs that come to mind – ribs so incredibly tender and perfect they fall off the bone before you even try and bite into them, slathered in a flavorful sauce, leaving you begging for seconds and thirds. Well, if that third one sounds particularly amazing to you right now (okay, and the other things, too) you’ll be excited to learn about this awesome, unassuming little joint in Fort Wayne that quite possibly has the best ribs in Indiana. Ziffle Rib Bar has been family-owned and operated since 1987, and it’s become a staple of Midwestern cuisine.
From the outside, it may not look like much: an unassuming little hole-in-the-wall located within a strip mall on State Boulevard.
It feels almost criminal to be able to experience the rich aromas of various incredible menu items for free. Within just a few moments, you will need more (and we don't blame you).

We definitely recommend that, on your first visit, you go with the tried-and-true ribs.
They. Are. INCREDIBLE. Served in enormous portions and with incredible house-made sauce, these babies will leave you needing more. Go ahead and order the whole slab - they'll disappear into your belly in no time.
It's got that old-school family joint vibe; it's somewhere in between a sports bar and a family-oriented neighborhood restaurant, and everyone is made to feel like part of the Ziffles family as soon as they wander in.
Of course, the menu is not limited to only ribs (though those ARE easily the most incredible item on the menu).
Indulge in other comfort food delights like crispy wings, house-made sausages, and chicken tenders. Other offerings include pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers (protip: get the mozzarella sticks), loaded fries, regular ol' fries, and so much more.
One thing is certain: once you've experienced Ziffles Rib Bar, you'll never want ribs from anywhere else.
Ziffles Rib Bar is located in Fort Wayne and is open every day except Sunday. For the full menu and lots more mouthwatering photos of menu items, be sure to check out the official Ziffles website.
