The Indiana tenderloin isn’t just a sandwich. For many, it’s a bit of a legend. Many Hoosiers spend years trying to find the perfect tenderloin, and there are many disagreements over which restaurant makes the best sandwich.
Luckily, you no longer have to choose a favorite since Indiana now has an official tenderloin trail spanning across Hamilton County – and you need to check it out before the specials end! Every Tuesday until July 25th, these 50 plus restaurants are offering great specials on Indiana’s favorite sandwich. Here’s a look at seven awesome restaurants below:
If you like a masive tenderloin, you'll definitely want to check out Alexander's on the Square. Not only is their tenderloin perfectly seasoned and breaded, but you can also get it with a side of their famous ice cream. Find them at 864 Logan St, Noblesville, IN 46060.
For a classic tenderloin in a friendly, laid back setting, you have to check out Erika's place. They're well known locally for their awesome comfort food, but nothing tops their famous tenderloin sandwich. Find them at 40 W Jackson St, Cicero, IN 46034.
This lively pub cooks up a mean tenderloin and sometimes breaks from tradition by serving it under a bed of gravy topped with a fried egg. Try it out at 110 S Union St, Westfield, Indiana.
This family friendly pub is well known for their epic tenderloin sandwich dubbed, "The Hoosier Daddy." Get it with a tasty side of sweet potato fries for a real treat. Find them at 10570 E 96th St
