I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
Where is your favorite place to go for a day trip or a getaway? Is it to the beach, the mountains, or to a quaint little town? Personally, I love exploring small towns because of their rich history as well as their charm. Plus, a secluded town that offers a place to relax and just be at peace, is at times, just what I need to reconnect with my soul. So, it’s great that there are remote towns in Indiana that are the perfect place to escape from it all. One such town is Morocco in Newton County. With just over 1,000 residents along with its scenic landscapes and relaxing outdoor adventures, Morocco is the perfect destination for a day trip or for a peaceful weekend getaway. Come with me to explore this remote small town in Indiana and bask in all that it has to offer.
