Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Sometimes, all you need is a little bit of nostalgia. Thankfully, there are a number of wonderfully nostalgic locations in Indiana – you just need to know where to look! One of my favorite things is an old-school diner, and even though I wasn’t alive in the 1950s, these places still evoke a strange sense of longing in my soul. Maybe in another life I frequently wore a poodle skirt – who knows; what I do know is that there just so happens to be an old-school 1950s diner in Indiana just waiting to provide you with all the shakes and malts your soul could ever hope for.
Rock-Cola Cafe is so mom-and-pop that it doesn’t have an official website, but you can still check out its official Facebook page for the most up-to-date hours, specials, and information. Planning on making a date night out of this? No worries – check out our friends at StubHub to plan the rest of your night.
