Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Milltown, Indiana is a little place with not a whole lot going on at any given time. It’s a cute, quiet little town, with an area of just 1.33 square miles and a population of about 790. However, this doesn’t mean that the place ought to be written off in any sense of the phrase; there are a few awesome, must-do attractions near this small town in Indiana that make the trip totally worth it. Take, for example, the legendary company known as Cave County Canoes. With its headquarters in Milltown, this is one of the single best things to do in Indiana during the summer. This year (and every year), Cave Country Canoes offers something particularly unique: moonlit kayaking in Indiana. Check it out, and plan your adventure before summer ends!
For more information about the Full Moon Float, including dates, prices, and more, be sure to visit the official Cave Country Canoes website. Ironically, though the company does have “canoes” in the name, kayaks are much preferred. Accommodations will be made for some canoes (and other vessels). The next Full Moon Float will be on July 29th, 2023.
