As a part of Indiana's Little Italy, this restaurant serves plenty of Italian cuisine, but you'll also find a good deal of classic American items on the menu as well. Everything is made hot and fresh from only the best ingredients.
Gerrie's is known for it's fresh-baked bread that's made daily. All the hot sandwiches come on it, meaning you've got to try the Italian beef, giant breaded tenderloin, reuben, stromboli, and chicken parmiagiano. Cold sandwiches are also available.
Calzones, pizza, and a plethora of entrees round out the Italian side of the menu. Enjoy lasagna, veal, spaghetti, and chicken alfredo as well as salads and appetizers. There are also several seafood options like fish and chips, shrimp, and clams.
Do your best to save room for dessert when you come here. Key lime pie, cannolis, tiramisu, napoleon, and something called Gerrie's Jubilee will put that sweet tooth to rest.
Beer, wine, and house cocktails are also available, as well as soft drinks and children's meals.
Gerrie's is open six days a week. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Next time you're craving some amazing Italian cuisine, remember this authentic eatery.
