On June 3, 2011, Charlene and Robert Spierer received a phone call that no parent should ever have to receive: their daughter, 20-year-old Indiana University student Lauren Spierer, was missing. Supposedly, she had spent the earliest hours of that morning incredibly intoxicated, bouncing between several friends before disappearing into the pre-dawn morning, never to be seen or heard from again.
