It was founded by Kate and Andrew Yundt, who have always had an intense love for animals and a passion for helping those in need.
Kate and Andrew knew they had to start the sanctuary when they learned about the horrors that some farm animals face.

They opened the sanctuary in 2018, and now they work to both rescue animals and inform the public about the horrible things they experience.
The farm is home to some seriously spoiled, happy, healthy farm animals ranging from pigs to chickens and rabbits.

While the decision to bring a farm animal into your life is a big one, Kate and Andrew sometimes have dogs and other animals up for adoption at the farm.

The rest of them are available for farm meetings only. And of course, adoption involves filling out a lengthy application and talking to the team extensively.
Kanda Farm Sanctuary had to postpone or cancel many events and visits due to the pandemic, but they are working on opening the farm back up.
