Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Staying at a hotel is usually pretty fun, right? We think so. Even if you’re in a less-than-reputable place on the wrong side of the tracks, there’s just something fun about staying at a hotel for the night (or longer). In this case, however, there’s no need to worry about whether or not this particular Hoosier State spot is “reputable” or not. Though it only recently opened in 2014, the Ironworks Hotel in Indianapolis is a pure delight, through and through, and has truly earned its reputation as a happening Indy hot spot.
That hasn't stopped it, however, from becoming a major hub of activity. The entire hotel is built head-to-toe to create a very specific and unique atmosphere, and the hotel certainly succeeds at it.

Every room, hallway, and common area feels like you've stepped into a 19th-century industrial factory, albeit a very clean one.
Anyone who's familiar with the concept of "steampunk" will surely enjoy a stay here; the industrial feel is somehow made to be simultaneously cozy. It's not often one associates creature comforts with industry and steam, but Ironworks Hotel in Indianapolis does exactly that (and flawlessly).
You can find just about anything you'll ever need here; it's got room service, a few on-site restaurants (that's right, not just one; sounds like you'll have to stay long enough to try them all), and even on-site spa services.
Ironworks Hotel is adjacent to Ironworks at Keystone, an upscale living, shopping, and dining district.
Imagine loving your stay at Ironworks Indianapolis so much that you decide to live there. That's kind of what it would be like to live at Ironworks at Keystone, and honestly, it sounds pretty nice to us. You never know; you might just fall in love with the place.
Even if you don't permanently relocate, you'll likely find yourself coming back.
Whether you're vacationing with family, taking some time away from it all with your significant other, or even just having some alone-time, Ironworks is perfect for the occasion.
