Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Sometimes, you get kind of bored with the normal restaurant fanfare. Sure, going out to eat is fun – we love going out to eat, trust us – but sometimes you’ve got to spice it up. Well, we found a little place in Indy that’s as tasty as it is unique. It’s perfect for spicing up your palate a bit. It’s a themed restaurant in Indiana with a bit of a dark twist in there, and we think this hot spot couldn’t be any cooler if it tried (okay, we’ll show ourselves out).
The Inferno Room is one of those places that you go to get away from it all... when you can't get away from it all.
The photogenic quality of the food and drink is secondary only to its quality of taste. No matter what you order, you'll find yourself transported via your taste buds to... well, anywhere but here (as long as it's tropical).

With each sip or bite, you'll find yourself somewhere tropical and beautiful -- with a spooky edge as soon as you walk in.
The atmosphere is a fascinating mix of dark and tropical. It's not every day you find a spot that can combine the two adjectives so flawlessly, but The Inferno Room manages to do exactly that.
Oh, and by the way: this restaurant and cocktail lounge is also home to one of the largest collections of Papua New Guinea native art that's not within a museum.
