Did you know Bloomington is technically the 4th gayest city in the United States? Of course, Indiana does largely hold many traditional conservative values and has voted Republican in most elections. You could say we are a diverse group.
5. Thermal underwear and water should be kept in your vehicle at all times.

You really should give up on predicting the weather while you are here, but you should make sure you are prepared for anything. Keeping clothing for all the seasons in your car, and a little water never hurts.

A lot of people just assume all of Indiana is in Eastern Standard Time. Truth is, there are six counties in the northwest part of the state and six in the southwest that are actually in Central Time. If you think that’s confusing just try visiting during Daylight Savings Time when things really get crazy.
12. Holiday World isn’t just a winter attraction.

It is a common misconception that Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana is a place you can only visit in December. This theme park celebrates all the major holidays with sections of the park dedicated to each one.
