Winter is coming, and with it comes freezing cold temperatures and snow. Now, you can easily squander the opportunities that come with living in the Midwest during the winter months, or you can take full advantage of them by checking out our favorite park! If you’re a fan of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or just sitting by the fire in a cozy lodge, you’ll want to check out this fantastic park during the winter.
Perfect North Slopes is a ski area located at 19074 Perfect Lane in Lawrenceburg, IN.
"Perfect" is the best way to describe this winter wonderland, which offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding the state of Indiana has to offer.
Formed in 1980, Perfect North has been the go-to spot for ski enthusiasts throughout Indiana.
In fact, it happens to be where Olympic freestyle skier Nick Goepper got his start on the slopes. He would spend up to 12 hours a day training during his youth.
Perfect North has two terrain parks: a beginner and an advanced park.
The advanced park is lift serviced and includes three large jumps, as well as several rails. The beginner park offers access to beginner rails and a series of smaller jumps.
A beginner lesson is included with every lift ticket purchase.
If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, don’t worry. Perfect North employs some of the state’s best instructors who can teach you how to enjoy yourself on the slopes.
There are 23 trails throughout Perfect North.
These trails include two expert, four difficult, three advanced, nine intermediate, and four beginner runs. Regardless of your skill level, you’ll find a trail perfect for you.
Throughout the year, Perfect North hosts a multitude of exciting activities and competitions.
There’s a Big Air competition, a Spring Carnival, and so much more to enjoy.
You’ll also find a wonderfully cozy lodge, complete with a fully stocked cafeteria and a ski shop.
This is where you’ll want to book your stay if you’re planning on a ski weekend.
Scheduled to open on December 8, 2017, you’ll want to make a reservation at this amazing park early so that you can get in at the perfect time.
