5 Festivals In Indianapolis That Food Lovers Should NOT Miss

Everyone knows that one of the biggest food festivals in Indianapolis is the Taste of Indy. While it represents some of the city’s best restaurants and food trucks, there are plenty of other festivals throughout the summer that offer unique experiences in food, music, and culture. A symbol of summer’s end in Indianapolis, Greekfest has been a staple of the community for 44 years. This is a celebration of the Orthodox faith and Hellenic culture. You’ll find authentic Greek foods as well as live music and dancing.

Each June, Monument Circle plays host to another festival. This one is a bit more niche, focusing on locally grown strawberries. Here, you’ll find nearly six tons of strawberries and 18,000 homemade shortcakes served up to locals of all ages.
