Everyone knows that one of the biggest food festivals in Indianapolis is the Taste of Indy. A symbol of summer’s end in Indianapolis, Greekfest has been a staple of the community for 44 years. This is a celebration of the Orthodox faith and Hellenic culture. You’ll find authentic Greek foods as well as live music and dancing.

Each June, Monument Circle plays host to another festival. This one is a bit more niche, focusing on locally grown strawberries. Here, you’ll find nearly six tons of strawberries and 18,000 homemade shortcakes served up to locals of all ages.

A local Avon tradition since 2005, this ribfest features ribs from all across the county. Here, local restaurants and chefs enter their ribs in competitions for "Best Ribs" and "Best Sauce." There is also live entertainment, games for kids, and a beautiful fireworks display.
