Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Summer is finally here and that can only mean one thing: it’s time for fun in the sun. And you know, nobody ever said that you have to have an ocean nearby to have that fun; in fact, you can have loads of fun at the beach right here in the Hoosier State. Enter the nothing-short-of-epic Indiana Beach, an enormous amusement park in Indiana filled to the brim with fun and exciting things to do every single day this summer season.
What started as a refreshment stand and bath house quickly expanded to include some incredible attractions. Today, it's home to not one, not two, not three, but six roller coasters, splash pads, an action river, numerous slides, an arcade, and plenty of places to snack and stay.

The park almost closed its doors forever in early 2020, but, luckily for Hoosiers, it re-opened in June 2020 with new owners and a whole new vision.
There's nothing more perfect to do during the warmest months of the year. The park is situated over the water of Lake Shafer, and there's so much to do within its walls that you'll definitely need more than just one day to conquer it all.
The nostalgia factor is cranked up to 11. Remember the days when you'd kill an entire summer at the arcade? Well, now your kids can do the same at this spectacular amusement park in Indiana.
At the time of this writing (July 2021), season passes are just $64.99 for an entire year! Daily ticket prices are based on the height of the guest. Folks 48" (or four feet tall) and over are $39.99, and 48" and under are $29.99. Seniors over 60 are just $19.99, and children two and under are always free. Check the official website for mid-week admission specials and more!
Rides open at 11 a.m. daily, and the water park opens at 10 a.m. daily.
If rides aren't quite your thing, don't worry! On top of the arcade, splash pads, and other water-based attractions, there's also regular music and social events, and sometimes, they even have murder-mystery dinners!
Create a summer that your family will never forget at Indiana Beach.
