Wine is not for everyone, but if you’re someone who enjoys wine it’s normal for you to want to know where your local wineries are and what they’re up to. Today, I’m going to share with you ten beautiful wineries scattered throughout Indiana. Just select the one closest to you and you could come back home with a few delicious bottles of wines for your wine cabinet.
Buck Creek Winery is a new family owned winery located in Indianapolis. Its roots are buried within the successful fourteen year old Durm Vineyards. The Salt Creek Winery is located in Freetown has been open for five years. They're proud they only use the best ingredients in their wine. They don't just make grape wine, they also make pear, cherry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, and plum wine. The winery sometimes has live music for their guests. The views from the vinery are breathtaking.
The Lanthier Winery located in Madison is near the Clifty Falls and Versailles State Parks. These nearby attractions allow you to make a day of visiting the park and tasting delicious wine. You can enjoy a tour of the winery and take in a tasting while admiring the view from their outside seating area. They also have banquet facilities that can be rented out for events.
