Technically, the Hayswood Nature Reserve in Corydon, Indiana is two parks smashed into one. The first part of this park is all about preserving nature. Activities such as hunting, harvesting naturally growing vegetation, and lumbering are not allowed in this part of the park. There are, however, 181 acres of recreational land set aside for these activities.
3) Lincoln City Garvin Park, Evansville
Garvin Park is actually one of the oldest and most popular parks in Evansville. Did you know the park was purchased back in 1915 for just $50,000? It features a swimming pool, large lake, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a playground. It’s a beautiful place to go on a picnic and spend a day with your family.
