I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the fall season. The temperatures are starting to go down, the leaves are starting to change colors, the smell of rain is in the air, Halloween decorations are starting to go up, and the Christmas sales have just begun! Don’t forget about the awesome sales on food for Thanksgiving that’s right around the corner! Here are a few reasons why I think Fall is the best season in Indiana. What do you think?
1. You can see trees in beautiful colors like this while you're driving.
While the Fall season means there are TONS of corn mazes in Indiana for you to enjoy, I decided to highlight the Hogan Farms Corn Maze in Brownsburg. This corn maze consists of a Colt’s football player, footballs, a field goal, and a Colt’s Helmet. It's the ultimate Hoosier corn maze. This is actually a new addition to the Hogan Farm’s Pumpkin Patch this year.
4. Pollen season is OVER. If you have allergies, you will understand why this is something to get excited about.
8. The temperatures have finally started to cool off. Now, you can walk to the mailbox or to your car when you forget something in the back seat without having to worry about shoes because the ground isn’t going to burn your feet!
This particular pumpkin patch is called Russell Farms and it's located in Noblesville. It's just one of many-many pumpkin patches that open to the public in the month of September and usually remain open until Halloween for you and your family to go pumpkin picking. I'll definitely be taking my son to get a pumpkin this year! Are you going to go to a local pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin for your family?
I know what you’re thinking, some of the items in this list are true of any state – not just Indiana. While that might be the case, none of those other states will be as cozy and comfortable as the Hoosier state, right? From pretty colored leaves to pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING – I love the fall season! Please tell me what you love about the fall season in the comments!
