There’s a homemade holiday lights display in Kokomo, Indiana that everyone needs to see. Put on by a privately owned park, this giant lights feature is one of the best in the state. Check it out:
Opening each year on Thanksgiving night, We Care Park hosts its holiday lights display through Christmas day. More than 1.2 million lights illuminate this park for all to see.
Guests can view this display for free though a donation is appreciated. All proceeds are donated to the local charity that the park is named for: We Care.
The lights are available each evening beginning at dusk and last until about 9:30 p.m. Guests will get to see light tunnels, depictions of holiday characters, decorated trees, glowing statues, and so much more.
It's a tradition for locals to come out and see this special display of lights each year, and it is worth a drive from any corner of the state to see it too.
The designers of this display think it's possible you can see it from space. Come and witness it with your own eyes here on Earth the way it was intended.
