Tucked away in the woods around the river town of Cutler is a little-known path that loops around Wildcat Creek. Just 25 miles east of Lafayette, this is a wonderful spot to spend the day.

The marvelous trail is just over one mile in total and is easily accessible for all skill levels. Most of the path is paved or laid over with gravel, and you'll even get to go through the old bridge.

Plaques throughout the grounds detail the origins of this historic trail. A saw mill was built on this location in 1831 by John Adams, who added a flour mill in 1836.
