Where there are many lakes, there are many beaches. Believe it or not, you can totally have an awesome beach day right here in Indiana. Some of our favorites include the legendary Michigan City beach, which is so photogenic (it’s got a lighthouse at the end of a long pier) that it attracts photographers from all over the nation. Sunsets there are second to none. Pokagon Beach is another favorite, with world-class views and crisp, cool water all summer long. You really can’t go wrong here; Indiana is full of awesome places, including the best beaches in the Midwest.
