Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Hoosiers aren’t exactly strangers to the strange and unusual. In fact, all kinds of parts of our beautiful little state are said to be haunted, cursed, or worse – and naturally, these places attract brave souls who love to check these places out. So, if you happen to be one of those, you might want to check out this (allegedly) haunted road in Indiana… if you dare. No, it’s not the Screaming Bridge of Avon or anything, but it really is something special… if you’re into this sort of thing, anyway.
Hidden in the unassuming small town of South Bend, Indiana, is Primrose Road, an otherwise average-looking stretch of quiet road that's said to be incredibly spooky once night falls.
The ghost stories are plentiful; in some versions of the lore, you must drive along Primrose slowly, with your headlights off, for the fun to REALLY begin.
Go 20 miles per hour, they say, and suddenly, all of your tires with go flat (or worse, blow out).
Should you be foolish enough to do 30 miles per hour, they say, your whole car will die... and then they will come for you.

Supposedly, those brave (foolish?) enough to attempt this can also hear the voices of the dead calling to them, warning them to head back and go no further.
Other reports claim that the spirits of wayward souls can occasionally be seen on Primrose Road, walking aimlessly and waiting for a ride they'll never get.
Stories whisper of malfunctioning electronics, and GPS systems that suddenly decide they no longer want to function properly.
