Hinkle's Hamburgers claims to be the best in the state. It is located in a popular city on the south side of Indiana where it's been serving up simple yet delicious diner food for nearly 90 years.
This tiny hamburger house is known for its fast service. It is situated close to Indiana University and is always full of loyal locals. Many choose to take their meals to go, but there are several tables for dine-in.
All the food at this historic restaurant is fresh and made to order. For the burgers, all meat is ground in-house. You can get them with a single or double patty and with or without cheese.
This popular Hoosier joint is also known for its tenderloin sandwiches, which are hand-breaded. Other items include homemade chili, fish filet sandwiches, grilled cheeses, BLTs, corn dogs, chicken strips, tater cakes, baby cakes, cheese sticks, and a slew of other sides.
