Situated in a small town in central Indiana about halfway between Indianapolis and Terre Haute is a roadside diner that locals would rather keep a secret.
Established in 1963, Bert and Betty's Kitchen is a hometown diner that is open six days each week for breakfast and lunch. It is a family-style restaurant that offers friendly service from local staff.
When it comes to the menu, you'll find plenty of classic comfort food items. For breakfast, pancakes, eggs, French toast, biscuits and gravy, bacon, hash browns, omelets, and much more abound.
Lunch specials include salads, soups, chili, roast beef, breaded tenderloins, meatloaf, turkey, mashed potatoes, baked chicken, ham and beans, cornbread, and more.
You'll also find grilled cheese sandwiches, baked potatoes, and an array of homemade pies for dessert. Coffee, tea, soda, juice, and other drinks come with meals.
