We have really good news for lovers of Polish cuisine, particularly of the pierogi variety: there are a lot of places where you can get good pierogi in Indiana. Sure, many of them claim to be the best, but when it comes to the best pierogi in Indiana, well, we think there’s only one clear winner, and that’s Jax’s Crown Town Grill. Born from an already legendary Hoosier State favorite, Jax’s makes excellent pierogi look easy. Come out and bring your appetite: these delicious little morsels are truly a treat.
Pierogi Square was a top-rated, much-beloved Polish restaurant located in Crown Point.
In 2020, the owners of Pierogi Square purchased a popular local joint called Crown Town Grill, and before too long, Pierogi Square was out and Jax's Town Grill was in. The restaurant was lovingly named for their son, who is himself developing a passion for culinary arts as we type (and has been for years).
It's a 1950s-style diner and grill with some of the best options available when it comes to excellent Polish cuisine.
But the one thing Jax's Crown Town Grill is most famous for is a wonderful thing indeed; its absolutely, totally, 150% beyond-killer pierogi selection is truly to die for.

What is a pierogi, you might ask? Essentially, it's a Polish dumpling.
Delicious, tender dough is wrapped around a filling - traditionally, something either savory or sweet - and then boiled in a pot of water. Oftentimes, they are flash-fried in a pan before serving, and the pierogi served up at Jax's is seriously the best we've ever experienced.
...but we're just saying, we won't blame you if you do. There are six "forever" flavors of these tender little morsels on the menu at Jax's at all times, plus a list of more than 60 additional flavor options you can order special from.
Oh, and we also love that there's a whole entertainment theatre in here, too, so you can come in, eat your weight in expertly-crafted, hand-batched pierogi, and catch a fun, family-friendly flick while you're at it.
