Gary, Indiana gets a pretty bad rap in the Hoosier state, though it’s home to some famous spots, including the famous Indiana demon house. This house on Carolina Street became quite famous after clairvoyants claimed it was home to over 200 demons.

The Ammons family who first became aware of these "demons" or spirits claimed three of their children became possessed by the paranormal presences. One of their sons often conversed with an invisible boy and was also known to suddenly growl or speak in a deep tone of voice. They also claim their daughter levitated and their older son once walked backward up a wall.

Although some residents and even some police officers supported these claims, the Ammons family was accused of fraud and found to have exaggerated many of their tales. Owners since then have claimed not to experience any paranormal activity.

Yet when Zak Bagans, executive producer of Ghost Adventures, purchased the property, plans to demolish the property were put into motion. Bagans himself claims there were spirits within the house that he had never encountered the likes of before, and he plans to release a documentary explaining his reasoning behind destroying the house.
