I came to realize we had a lot of great places to view fall foliage. I’ve also discovered that Brown County State Park is arguably the best state park for viewing fall foliage. Say what you will about this piece, but one thing is true – autumn is in the air and these pictures are BEAUTIFUL!
1. Brown County State Park is the best place to view the change of the season in my opinion.
7. I’m not sure where in Indiana this photo was taken, but I couldn’t leave it out of this piece. Just look at the colors! This is what autumn is all about.
10. I think the vibrant colored leaves are just as pretty when they're on the ground. This is what the McCormick's Creek State Park looks like during the fall.
13. This is just a parking lot somewhere in Indianapolis. But, I’ve told you before that I'm a sucker for those bright red trees. I love how the photographer captured this piece.
15. I decided to share this picture taken at the Salamonie State Forest because not all fall foliage stays in the trees. The photographer did an exceptional job capturing a part of fall we rarely think much about.
I have two questions for you. The first – which one of these pictures was your favorite? The second – where do you enjoy looking at the autumn foliage in Indiana? Remember to share this with your friends to remind them that fall is knocking on our doors!
