The Indianapolis Zoo is the first zoo in the country to be accredited as a zoo, botanical garden, and aquarium by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Recently, this beloved zoo was rated one of the top in the country by Conde Nast Traveler.
This zoo is made up of a series of habitats such as Deserts, Encounters, Oceans, Plains, and Forests. There's also a Flights of Fancy exhibit which features walk-through aviaries and White River Gardens with an incredible butterfly exhibit.
