Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
For more than 80 years now, Pokagon State Park has transformed itself, every winter, into a safe haven for fun and games. Who says snowfall means the end of recreational shenanigans at Indiana’s beautiful state park? Definitely not the folks at Pokagon; in fact, this little state park is home to the fastest toboggan run in Indiana (so far). As of the time of this writing, the fastest recorded speed a rider has reached is 42 miles per hour. Think you can beat the record? It’s worth a try. After all, what’s the worst that can happen – you have a great time?
So, what do you think? Plan on tobogganing any time soon? Tell us your thoughts in the comments, and while you’re there, tell us about the fastest you’ve ever gone on a sled or toboggan!
