The Midwest is way into its comfort food, wouldn’t you say? I would. Around here – and even dipping down south as far as Kansas City or MAYBE Texas (depending on who you ask) – it’s not difficult to find mounds of the stuff. My personal favorite comfort food of all time is good, old-fashioned barbecue, and goodness, does Indiana have quite an array of options. Today, I’d like to shine a spotlight on a little barbecue joint in an unexpected place: Porkopolis BBQ, a barbecue restaurant inside a gas station that can’t be passed up, serves up some of the downright juiciest ribs you’ll ever taste. Don’t pass this one by without stopping – to not stop would be to do yourself a disservice. Attention all lovers of barbecue restaurants in Indiana: this is one I encourage you to check out.
