There’s never a lack of things to do here in Indiana, but sometimes it can be hard to choose just the right thing. Add in the fact that some things aren’t open year-round and you can be hunched over a bucket-list of things to do for days before finally deciding on a fun outing for the fun whole family. If this sounds familiar to you, we’ve got a great option! This habitat is open year-round and it’s great for both fun and education.
For a fun day out, head to Wolf Creek Habitat in Brookville. This special destination is so much more than just a place to see animals. In addition to education, visitors have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures.
And, because they’re open all year you won’t need to squeeze a visit in before the winter begins. In fact, the colder months are believed to be the best time to visit with the wolves.
A visit to the habitat means playing with the wolves that have all been raised and cared for by humans. Or, you can choose to head to the observation deck to view the wolves from afar.
To interact with the wolves you’ll need to pay a $50 donation fee. The donation goes towards feeding and caring for the wolves. Those who choose to interact with the wolves can meet three different packs.
The Wolf Creek Habitat is a great place to have an adventure!
Wolf Creek Habitat is open for visitors Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can learn more about it by visiting their website or check them out on Facebook. The habitat can be reached at 513-312-9143.
