Saxony Lake and Beach in central Indiana is a little-known beach in a heavily populated area that locals would rather keep a secret. It is ideal for swimming, strolling, tanning, kayaking, pedal boats, and canoeing.
The water is always crystal clear at this lake. It is open dusk until dawn allowing you to see it at all stages of the day. Sunrises and sunsets are absolutely stunning here.
This clear water beach will make you feel like you're visiting the Caribbean. It is surrounded by a community of condos that only makes the view better.
The lake is fully stocked for fishing and is open year-round. While summer is the best time to visit, you can enjoy the hidden beach life as a way of life.
Be sure to bring your camera, towel, sunscreen, and beach toys along on a day trip to this lovely oasis. Chairs, umbrellas, beach balls, floaties, and more will make your experience even more enjoyable.
Admittance to the beach is free for the residents of Fishers while nonresidents will pay $5 to enter. The beach itself is only available in the later spring through summer.
