Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Have you ever been to Charlestown State Park? It’s Indiana’s third-largest state park and, somehow, one of its most underrated as well. There are lots of things about the park to enjoy – my favorite park is the abandoned amusement park on an island you can walk to – and the great news is that if you fall in love with it, you can spend up to 14 consecutive days here. Come out to Charlestown State Park and fall in love with the best campground near Charlestown, Indiana!
Charlestown State Park is an awesome example of Indiana's beauty both past and present.

This is a popular campground, so be sure to book your site(s) well in advance.
Some of the best amenities offered up at this gorgeous campground include an information center, picnic areas, shelters, a playground, toilets, and some of the best stargazing in the state.
