If you follow my articles regularly, I think we have probably established by now that Indiana is a pretty beautiful place. It’s filled with nature, animals, people, attractions, and even buildings that are just fantastic to look at. In fact, here are 20 pieces of architectural brilliance you should check out!
1. This snapshot is of the interior of the Indiana state building. Incredible!
7. This is a $7,000,000 house for sale in Indianapolis. This Asian themed home is beautiful both inside and out. I would love to live in a house that looks like this!
8. The Benjamin Harrison Home located in Indianapolis is a beautiful example of what the architects in Indiana are capable of. I love the pillars around the porch of the home.
9. The Tippecanoe Place (Studebaker Mansion), located in South Bend, is constantly being recommended by the readers of this articles. Taking a look at this picture, I can see why! The building is absolutely beautiful.
10. Make sure you get to the Indiana University Auditorium early the next time you go to a performance. You will want the extra time to admire the beautiful architecture of the interior of the building.
14. This picture is of the Blackford County Courthouse located in Hartford City. I absolutely love the design of the exterior of the building, especially the clock.
17. This is a cotton mill that is located in Cannelton, Indiana. It was built in the 1840’s, but you can’t really tell it's that old just by looking at it.
18. This is the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse in Evansville, Indiana. Everything about the exterior of this courthouse makes it really hard to look away!
19. This intricately designed building is located in New Harmony, Indiana. The quality of its design has a way of wrapping itself, both openly and in a secluded way, around your curiosity.
Have you ever seen any of these buildings before? Maybe you have a favorite from this list? Perhaps you even have a favorite that didn’t make the list? Share with me in the comments; and don’t forget to tell your friends all about it!
