Islamorada Fish Company is a nautical-themed restaurant with 15 locations throughout the United States. The one in Portage, Indiana is home to a 13,000-gallon aquarium you have to see to believe.
Situated in the middle of the restaurant is this gigantic and unique salt water fish tank. It is home to many different species of colorful fish and coral that will make you think you're at an actual aquarium.
Whether or not you sit within sight of the fish tank, you'll get to enjoy a plethora of deep-sea decor. Everywhere you look in this restaurant, there are fish and other nautical images.
Guests may choose to sit outside where there is space for about 70 people. This seating option is ideal when the weather is nice because it comes with an excellent view.
Menu items include burgers, tacos, sandwiches, brisket, cheese curds, boneless wings, soups, salads, and much more. Dessert options include key lime pie, a smore's cookie skillet, and carrot cake.
Guests will of course find plenty of seafood at Islamorada Fish Company as well. Shrimp, salmon, tilapia, catfish, mahi mahi, redfish, mussels, alligator, and calamari abound.
Guests can also enjoy a wealth of drinks from the bar, including cocktails, wine, and beer. Featured drinks include the Sunset Sangria and the Fish Bowl.
This aquarium restaurant is open daily. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
