We’ve done a little digging and found five of the best affordable, private campsites in Indiana for your next inexpensive glam-camping trip!

If you've never stayed at a hostel, you're missing out. More often than not, they're warm, friendly, and great for making new friends from around the world. This particular campsite is situated on the grounds of Lost River Hostel, a space of generosity and creativity.

Following the gratitude circle, the giving folks at Lost River Hostel provide dinner on the house. Lost River is a non-profit arts and cultural center, and they do ask that guests do one small, simple chore in the morning to contribute to the hostel community. Trust us, it's well worth it for the experience.

There are several tent-only campsites available at Tipsaw Lake for just $20. Like the Dunewood Campground, no more than eight people in a group are permitted here. This site is more suited for the solo camper, or perhaps a couple or a small family. Delightfully, many of the sites are in full shade, so you don't have to worry about the sun beating down on you during the summer. There are a ton of things to do at the lake, like swimming, fishing, boating, and more, so definitely plan accordingly!
