Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Indiana is a breathtakingly beautiful state; Hoosiers are quite lucky to call such a scenic place home! There are some counties, though, that have somehow managed to be even more photogenic than the rest of the state (if you can believe it). One of the counties most frequently called the “most beautiful” is Brown County; it’s famous for its incredible beauty, and folks come from all over the country to see it. Nestled within the region is Brown County State Park, and nestled within that park are several amazing hiking trails. There’s one, in particular, we’re going to examine today: the absolutely amazing Trail #2, which leads to an unusual hidden overlook in Indiana you’ve got to see to believe.
Trail #2 is an amazing point-to-point trail and has approximately 270 steps along the length of the hike. While you’re at Brown County State Park, you’ll probably want to check out the rest of the place; trust us, it’s amazing, and you won’t regret taking every opportunity you can get to explore it. Interested in what the fall color looks like out here? Come see it in autumn!
