I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
You may think that camping is mostly a summer activity, and while that’s true, there are many people who enjoy camping year-round. Tucked away in the forest is one campground that offers year-round camping in Illinois. Let’s have a look at Camp Reinberg and what it has to offer for those who choose to camp here.
Tucked away in the oak woods of historic Deer Grove, Camp Reinberg is a wonderful camping destination that's open year-round. If you enjoy camping in all seasons of the year, this is the campground for you!
Featuring plenty of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and even cross-country skiing, there are opportunities for outdoor recreation throughout the year here. There is also a camp store and dining hall at the campground.
If you have a family or a small group, there are four small heated cabins with bunk beds for eight people. You will also find a fire ring, porch, and picnic table at each cabin.
Camp Reinberg also has four large cabins that can accommodate up to 10 people. Inside there are two single beds and several sets of bunk beds. There is a fire ring at each cabin, a picnic table, and a private accessible bathroom.
