While I don’t consider myself a hiking aficionado by any means, I do love heading out into nature and enjoying a few easy-to-moderate trails. The good news for me, and anyone on that same page, is that Illinois is chock-full of exciting and beautiful beginner trails for any skill level. In fact, the Lewis Memorial Acres Outer Loop is one such trail, and it just so happens to be bursting with wildflowers come springtime.
