Cabins on Indian Creek in Carbondale are a set of six log cabins that lie around a pond with a fountain. It creates a calming sound and picturesque view you'll never forget.
Each cabin is built from custom stone and log, which you can see on their facades. The grounds are a 30-acre wetland area nestled within the Shawnee National Forest, which is Illinois' grandest nature preserve.
There are many special amenities such as fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and outdoor fire pits. Each cabin also has an open layout, full kitchen, and a covered porch.
Room rates are moderate and require a two-night minimum stay. Prices range from $125 to $185 per night, and guests can fit four to seven people per cabin.
Allowing you to stay anytime of year, the waterfront cabins are equipped with heat and A/C. Guests can also access cable TV, a DVD player, and a washer and dryer. You'll never get homesick here.
