The Quarry Cable Park in northern Illinois is a restaurant wake park, and beach all-in-one. It provides loads of warm-weather fun that may make this your new home away from home.
Opening May 10, 2019, Quarry Grille will provide a wealth of delicious lunch and dinner options. Seating is simple and allows for incredible views of the 32-acre lake and wake park.
Guests enjoy salads, sandwiches, and other delicious delights at this wakeboard park restaurant. Desserts, kids' meals, and appetizers are available to please any taste.
What makes this park unique is that it uses cables rather than boats to pull you through the water. Participants can purchase daily or hourly passes as well as rent items like boards and helmets on-site.
North Lake began as a gravel quarry more than 60 years ago and is now a part of Three Oaks Recreation Area. The lake has been fit with UNIT Parktech rails, jumps, curbs, ledges, and other features to make your wakeboarding experience exciting and unique.
Additional features found at this wakeboard park restaurant include a lakefront firepit as well as rowboat, canoe, sailboat, and paddleboat rentals. Guests can also swim at the beach, hike the surrounding trails and enjoy scenic overlooks.
That's not all, though. The Quarry Cable Park is also host to sand volleyball, open-air yoga, baggo (i.e. bags or cornhole), and live musical entertainment.
