I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Do you enjoy relaxing at a vineyard as you sip on wine and look at the gorgeous scenery all around you? Part of you may wish you could stay at the vineyard overnight. Luckily, Von Jakob Vineyard in Alto Pass has a bed and breakfast where you can do just that. Let’s have a look at this beautiful vineyard and its charming accommodations.
Von Jakob Winery & Brewery is located along the famous Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in Alto Pass. Known for its scenic views of both the vineyard and Shawnee National Forest, as well as its award-winning wine, this vineyard is a destination.
You can come here for a relaxing day of views as you sip on wine, craft beers, and crisp hard apple cider while also enjoying delicious food. Or you can spend the night by booking a stay at the Von Jakob Bed & Breakfast!
With a stay at the bed and breakfast, you will be given a welcome basket filled with goodies, your choice of a complimentary bottle of wine, and breakfast, which is served at 9:30 a.m. each morning at the winery.

With two cottages and five suites, each with its own bathroom, a stay on the property of Von Jakob Winery provides the perfect getaway.
The Wine House (pictured here) has three guest suites and features a common space with a gas fireplace, a dining room, and a full kitchen. The rooms can be booked separately or together if you have a large group.
If you happen to book the entire Port House, there is a sleeper sofa for any additional guests.
One of the two rooms at the The Port House is called the White Port Suite. This bright and cheerful space is named after the White Oak Port produced at Von Jakob, the first winery in the state to produce this particular wine.
The second room at the Port House is known as the Red Port Suite, also named after a wine produced on the property.
Would you like to stay at Von Jakob Winery’s charming bed and breakfast? Which room would you choose? You can book your overnight stay on the official website and follow the Facebook page for any updates and upcoming events.
