The small Northern Illinois city of Sandwich has a population of approximately 7,200 residents. Residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of restaurants, outdoor activities, a friendly small-town feel, and numerous antique shops. It's an ideal town to explore on a day or weekend trip.
Harvey Creek Conservation Area Park is the largest park within the Sandwich Park District at 30 acres. Although on the small side compared to other parks around the state, this park offers wetlands and prairies, picnic tables, interpretive signs to learn about species of flora and fauna found here, and a trail that leads to the creek.
