Taking place over Columbus Day Weekend, October 6-7, 2018, the Galena Country Fair is a fine arts event that features more than 150 vendors selling everything from food to crafts. It has been going on for nearly 40 years and is a must-visit for many locals before it can truly feel like fall.

Vendors sell high-quality artwork, including decorations, ornaments, handbags, jewelry, clothing, and other accessories and home goods. If you love treasure hunting, you'll definitely find a wealth of special homemade items here.

Scheduled events take place throughout the two days of this vintage country fair. On Saturday, festivities begin at 9 a.m. with a live string band. There will also be Irish dancers and a church service at 5:30 p.m.

The following day also begins at 9 a.m. with live music. This day also includes dancers but also a raffle drawing around 3 p.m. The day finishes up at 4 p.m.
