This One Unique Restaurant In Illinois Will Give You An Unforgettable Dining Experience

If there’s one thing about Illinois, it’s that we have some awesome dining experiences. So picking just ONE unique dining establishment is pretty difficult. But for a truly unique experience, you cannot go wrong with Next Restaurant Chicago.
The brainchild of Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas, this restaurant provides diners with an experience through different themes (which change every four months). Diners explore these themes via a multi-course meal. For example, they had a “Midwestern Meat” theme complete with imitation snow. Whoa. Their current theme is “The Alps.” I am interested to know what stops they’ll pull with that one.
I was blown away. And if you don’t believe me, believe the James Beard award they received for “Best New Restaurant in America.”
This is an upscale restaurant, meaning that it costs $$$ and it definitely requires a reservation. You can find them at 953 W Fulton Market in Chicago.
The food is beautiful, but that is only one part of the experience. Photos cannot do the experience justice, but here are some amazing photos. Try not to drool.
