7. Moomaw America's One & Only Hippie Memorial (Arcola)
This roadside attraction is a shrine to the 1960s and 1970s and was created by a man named Bob Moomaw. Known for making signs meant to provoke thought, he constructed this masterpiece between 1992 and 1998. The entire wall is 62 feet and is a memorial to both pop culture and Bob.

This immaculate home belongs to Mr. Alan St. George who decorated the castle with art dedicated to his (late) wife. Many locals love to sit here and watch trains pass while history buffs seek out old hobo signs, electric generators, and other ancient artifacts.
