L&A Family Farms in Paris, Illinois is known for many things; they raise many types of livestock and grow over 50 types of fruits and vegetables. But, what many visitors to their farm enjoy most are their gorgeous sunflowers spread across two acres of farm land. Keep reading to find out what makes this incredible sunflower farm even more special!

Each July, the sunflowers slowly start to bloom.

When the middle of the month hits, the field begins to turn from green to yellow. Most of them grow to be about five to eight feet tall.
Once the flowers are in full bloom, the field is open for visitors.

The window of time in which the flowers are in full bloom is fairly short. So, the farm extends its hours of operation so everyone can get a chance to see them.

Though they just started planting sunflowers within the last couple of years, the plants have taken over the farm. They make for a stunning photo opportunity!
