Few Illinoisans know that there is a super strange fall festival that takes place every year in the town of Huntley. Locals can’t get enough of this traditional pre-Thanksgiving event that features a unique treat not everyone is brave enough to try.

The most unique fall festival in Illinois is the Turkey Testicle Festival, which has been a pre-Thanksgiving tradition for more than 35 years. It will take place the day before this all-American holiday on November 21, 2018, but only the brave will make an appearance.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until midnight with live music scheduled throughout the day. Only guests who are 21 years of age or older will be permitted. VIP tickets for those who wish to skip the lines can be purchased for $20.
For $60, guests can purchase a VIP ticket that comes with added perks. These guests will receive a SWAG bag as well as exclusive access to some restrooms and bartenders.

They don't call it the Turkey Testicle Festival for nothing. Guests look forward to gorging themselves on these deep-fried delights every year. If it helps, just try not to think about where it came from.
Staff at Parkside Pub spend all day preparing these popular bites for hungry customers. The restaurant itself has been in business since 1943 and is known for its burgers.
If you wish to stop by outside of the festival, hours are 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
