Full Throttle is a bar and grill surrounded by the beautiful forestry of Beaver Dam State Park in Carlinville, a small town of less than 6,000 residents, which is located between Springfield and St. Louis in Macoupin County.
This little-known restaurant tops these mighty drinks with items like sliders, tacos, meat and cheese, fried chicken, and much more. Stop by and customize your own.
Full Throttle is also known for its three-pound burger challenge, which is actually about five pounds all together when you include the bun, toppings, and one-pound of fries.
