The Church of Our Lady of the Snows was founded in 1958 as a place for all faiths to worship. It mostly offers Catholic and Christian services and programs.
Though services take place daily, you'll likely have the place to yourself. This grotto of religious figures lets guests go on a spiritual journey of their own.
There are several sacred spaces throughout the grounds of this church. The Agony Garden includes a sculpture of Jesus while the Annunciation Garden depicts Mary and the Angel Gabriel.
Other notable features include Our Lady of Guadalupe Hill, a prayer walk, a memorial wall, a spire, and many gorgeous water attractions like fountains and waterfalls.
Each feature has a religious meaning behind it that is important to visitors. For instance, the Way of the Cross leads to Resurrection Garden where there is a cave-like stone that represents Jesus' tomb.
In addition to beautiful views, gardens, and religious shrines, this church also has a wonderful playground for guests to enjoy. It is fun for all ages and has a spiritual theme.
