It’s never too early to start planning for the holiday season and all the fun that’s in store. In fact, tickets are already on sale for what’s sure to be the most memorable family event this year! Fox River Trolley Museum in Illinois is hosting its annual Polar Express Train and it’s one train you don’t want to miss.
Trains for this magical holiday experience depart at the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve in Kane County. It's a scenic preserve that borders the Fox River and is filled with woods and beautiful landscape.
Fox River Trolley Museum's holiday train brings the Chris Van Allsburg book "The Polar Express" to life. Children's imaginations will surely run wild as the train makes its way down the tracks.
As the festive train chugs along the tracks and everyone waits with excitement to get to the destination, take a look outside at the beautiful scenery going by.
Select date for The Polar Express train ride are Nov. 27 and 28 and Dec. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2021. Multiple train departure times are offered each day at 3:15, 4:25, 5:35, and 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person, regardless of age.
